  • Subject: YOUR ABANDONED CONSIGNMENTS!!

DESK OF INSPECTION MANAGER.
United Nation Agency Inspection Agency
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Atlanta
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Dear Owner,

I am Fred Williams, Inspection Unit Manager United Nations Inspection Agency in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Atlanta, Georgia. During our investigation, I discovered An abandoned shipment through a Diplomat from United Kingdom which was transferred from JF Kennedy Airport to our facility here in Atlanta, and when scanned it revealed an undisclosed sum of money in 2 Metal Trunk Boxes weighing approximately 65kg each.

The consignment was abandoned because the Content was not properly declared by the consignee as money rather it was declared as personal effect/classified document to either avoid diversion by the Shipping Agent or confiscation by the relevant authorities. The diplomat’s inability to pay for Non Inspection fees among other things are the reason why the consignment is delayed and abandoned.

By my assessment, each of the boxes contains about $4M or more. They are  still left in the airport storage facility till today. The Consignments like I said are two  metal trunk boxes weighing about 65lbs each (Internal dimension:  W61 x H156 x D73  effective capacity: 680 L) Approximately. The details of the consignment including your name and email on the official document from United Nations’ office in London where the shipment was tagged as personal effects/classified document is still available with us. As it stands now, you have to reconfirm your full name, Phone Number, full address so I  can cross-check and see if it corresponds with the one on the official documents.

Like I did say again, the shipper abandoned it and ran away most importantly because he gave a false declaration, he could not pay for the yellow tag, he could not secure a valid non inspection document(s), etc. I am ready to assist you in any way I can for you to get back this packages. You can come in person.

Sincerely,
Fred Williams

Me:

Fred,

It is such a relief to hear that everything is lining up smoothly for the transition, I would hate to cause you more grief than you’ve already had! As far as the fee is concerned, $650 seems a bit steep, especially considering I have to make buy a plane ticket to get down there and pay everything in person.

I suppose I can put it all on the credit card, since I will have the money to pay it all off (and some!) after I pick up the boxes, but I really don’t want to start being irresponsible with my money at this stage in my life (especially since I am coming into so much!). What is the time-frame we are looking at for the pickup? I would like to responsibly budget all of my expenses and get all my ducks in a row and these things take time!

Please reply at your convenience!

JJ Smith!

“Fred”:

Smith,

My last message to you was to sensitice you with the procedure for the claim of your trunk consignment boxes. However, there are two ways to which the trunks boxes will be cleared

First, you will be require to provide the clearing and custom duty fee of $650 through a money gram transfer. This will require a receiver’s name from me to you to pay the fee. Upon receipt and clearance of the trunk boxes, the shipment delivery to your doorstep is free shipment.

Secondly, You will have to travel to Atlanta to do the Clarance and pick up of the trunk boxes.

Your urgent response will be appreciated.

Me:

Fred,

Sorry about the delay in my response, I had some… setbacks yesterday. I am hoping to go to a different MoneyGram office tomorrow to get some payments sent, so if you could please furnish me with the information required I will try to accomplish that tomorrow. I haven’t had the best of luck with the MoneyGram office in my local Wal-Mart, so hopefully things will go smoother tomorrow.

Can you please tell me how large the boxes are again? Also, if they are shipped to my house what kind of insurance plan will we need to have on them for a value that high?

Let me know what you can, hopefully before tomorrow.

JJ Smith!
